Yoga in SF

Lately I have been taking advantage of the Groupon Deals and Living Social promotions  for the much needed yoga. Every time I check there is some kind of yoga membership for $20 for 15 or 20 classes. There is so much to try out there.

I have been going to the Yoga Centre Toronto, near Yonge and Eglinton, for the last two years. The place  has been a blessing for my back and flexibility, it has removed the pain from my wrists after spending hours and hours at work, sitting in front of the computer. But I never tried any other yoga and this trip has opened possibilities for me to try different studios and yoga practices.

Yesterday morning I went to Hanuman Centre. I know waking up at 7:30 AM on a Sunday is not agreeable or easy but I took the 9 AM class and it was terrific. The group was small (9), the instructor was patient and very communicative, the room was clean, they provided mats and props and the teaching was very focused on the breath, relaxation and stretching. I loved it!

I will be going back as much as I can.

I have another promotion to try Bikram yoga and a third one for a studio with different classes (YogaWorks) where I can go for a month.
