Life, Culture and Travels from the perspective of a Cuban
Another day in lovely San Chisco

I am sitting at Central Cafe on Hayes St. listening to Yerba Buena’s tribute to Los Van Van and trying not to stand up and start dancing right here, alone, like a bit insane person. 🙂

San Francisco has special powers. The city seems to know what you need and you find, without searching, what you know you have been looking for. No joke. 😉 It is like the story of me sitting at Center Camp at Burning Man and some random guy placed two cold Snickers right beside me. (Anyone who knows me a little knows that I will die for a Snickers and only Snickers). Being in the desert and getting a FROZEN bar, your favourite choco bar, out of a stranger… Call it luck or energy but my friends it is just great.

I have been wanting to visit San Francisco hills, one by one, to take pictures. At least to begin visiting the famous seven hills, starting with Telegragh Hill but my crazy love was practicing Parkour yesterday at The Athletic Playground and injured his foot. Nothing to worry about but I want to wait for him to take this hill “journey” together.

Therefore, the plan is to take it easy this afternoon and get ready for our long drive to Big Sur tomorrow.

Since we do not have a reservation we are going to stay in whichever spot is open. Probably we will not be going all the way south to Kirk Creek, like the initial plan. Whatever we find first we take, by the beach or the river. It is going to wonderful.
