Cupertino visit
Categories: XYZ

Yesterday we went to Cupertino for a few hours. We strolled around the city hall, public library, had some mint mocha at Coffee Society and walked to the Apple Headquarters, known as 1 Infinite Loop.

Several visitors were leaving flowers, baseball caps with the Apple logo and leaving messages for Steve Jobs. Some employees as well were leaving their thoughts and standing there for a while.

Jobs grew up in Cupertino and started building the first Apple computers with Wozniak in his parents garage (2066 Crist Dr). We drove by the empty and dark street on the way out of town and it just looked like another regular house with a white garage door. I do not know who owns the property but that is the block where all started.

The city is new, clean, small and quiet. You can probably figure that out by looking at Wikipedia 🙂 but also by the fact that they were about to celebrate a wedding in a public plaza and no one was around there except us tourists and the people getting everything ready.
