Sintesis – “Eru Aye”
Categories: Musicians

This is one of the Cuban bands that will be playing in the Jazz Plaza Festival 2011.

Sintesis has been active and playing in Cuban and international stages since 1974. I would affirm that they are the most famous Cuban band experimenting and performing Afro – Cuban music mixed with rock and jazz sounds.

The band history is extensive and very rich. They have written music for films like “Miel para Ochun” and other documentaries. The integrants of Sintesis have always been very talented and towards even more fusion in their compositions. In the past decade they had included hip-hop, trip -hop and rap to their songs, influenced by the director’s son, X Alfonso. The group has evolved keeping their public captivated with new sounds and voices.
