The Man Burns in 50 days!
Categories: Trips

This year I will not be a virgen anymore. I am going to Burning Man Festival in Nevada for the second time. I have no idea what to expect since it seems to me that it could be the only place that can closely reach someone’s imagination. I got there with thoughts of an amazing desert, festival and crowd and it turned out to be hundred times more incredible. The pictures and videos cannot do justice to the Playa.

This place that “burners” like to call Home has been the most fabulous experience I have ever had. Everything at first is so strange but at the same time so familiar that you just float, adapt and enjoy… There is no time to analyze the events too much until you come back either to never return and keep the memories or wanting and knowing you will come back next year. I guess I belong to the second group.

All I know is that I want to go home.

People from all over the world gather there for the same purpose: feel free, relax, meet new people, have fun, appreciate the art and the music. One week in a community with no masks or images where you can be your true self and everything that moves around is magic and colourful.

P.S: I’ll truly miss all the interesting and amazing guys that I met in 2010 coming from U.K, Ireland and Australia. I am sure some of the other old burners from the States will be there in 2011.
